(SHORT STORY HISTORICAL) Queen Victoria's seventy-first birthday. An Englishman far from home and homesick. All he wanted was a cup of English tea. Served properly. On clean china. On clean table linen. In the small port of Garibaldi, Oregon, in the dining room of the town's finest hotel what he got was something annoyingly different.

I feel that in only a few pages I feel like I understand -- or at least sympathize with -- the narrator. This is a great piece of short fiction that originally caught my attention because, like the narrator, I too love a good cup of tea.Product details

The Second Mate Cup of Tea edition by Jamie McNabb Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
In search of just one decent cup of tea... it's a cute story, but very, very short. I didn't do a word count. I'd have expected to pay $0.99 for this, not $2.99.
