I've flown around the world on all of the most popular airlines, but this book captures the frustrations of sharing transportation with the masses. If only all the other passengers knew how incredibly annoying they really are, maybe the rest of us could travel in Peace! A must read for the seasoned traveler!
Lafrado captures with vicious accuracy a world lost to the depths of narcisism. The graphics and varied use of typeset counterpoint his stabbing humor nicely. If you don't find yourself in here somewhere and get a chuckle from the lampooning, then you should seriously think of taking some time off. A nugget that will find a permanent place in your mind as your travel or otherwise find your way through a world dangerously enamored of itself.
Angry. Accurate. Would love to be on a plane with the author although I would be afraid that TSA might detain him.
I'm not a world traveler by any means, but I found the observations and stories about flying so universal and apropos as to be funny! A quick read, sure to remind you of that one guy or gal that really had you irritated!
Great read! I recently made some trips to Houston, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis. I wish I could have handed out a copy of this book to everyone entering the airports. Some folks could use a lesson in decorum and this book points out exactly what you are not supposed to do. Highly recommended!
This brief collection brings you right back to the agony of current air travel! Hilarious and entertaining! I am looking forward to "Get the F@@k OFF THE PLANE" as a sequel, or perhaps "Keep your DAMN shoes on!" Then there's security and TSA adventures as well!
A really enjoyable read!
I think everyone should read this! I have first hand experience at having luggage dropped on my head and water dripping from a bottle that was stored overhead. People need to get real and realize it is not all about them. Learn to be considerate of others.
I can't wait for the next book to come out!
